Dear Michelle,
I loved your application and I know it was from the heart. When I read it I could really get a good visual of who you are. I think you are a great person and really deserve a scholarship and I am proud to be a part of your journey through college and I can’t wait to see you grow to be the best you can be! I hope we can meet someday!
Signed with love, Ella Mae❤️
P.s. I’m Ruby’s big sister and seeing you accomplish these things gets me excited for Ruby’s future.
My hubby’s family wanted to establish a family scholarship in Ella Mae’s name this year, so we let her choose out of the new recipients who she wanted to honor. She chose Michelle and Ella Mae could not be more excited to follow along in her journey!! She handed me this letter she wanted me to add to Michelle’s scholarship package and I thought I would share Michelle today to honor this very special day❤️❤️
Michelle is very social and her dad said when her siblings went off to college she kept asking when it was “her time” and that was one of the hardest questions for them to answer…UNTIL the University of South Alabama PASSAGE program came along. When she got her acceptance letter he said, “Michelle was so full of joy and could not help letting everyone and her friends know about it!”
When asked Michelle what a Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship would mean to her she said, “It would help me achieve my goal of getting and education, a job and believing in myself.”
WE BELIEVE IN YOU MICHELLE!! We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see what you accomplish this year and beyond!!
