DSACT
The Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas’s (DSACT’s) mission is to provide education, support, and resources to individuals with Down syndrome, their families, professionals, and the community. All the while, the DSACT hopes to build public awareness and acceptance of the abilities of individuals with Down syndrome. They dream of a world that welcomes all and collect donations to provide life-changing social opportunities and recreation programs. DSACT also does medical and educational outreach.

DS Action
DS Action identifies the unmet needs of people with Down syndrome and finds creative solutions to meet those needs. DS Action worked to establish a Down Syndrome Center in San Diego, CA, where all children with Down syndrome would have an equal opportunity of receiving recommended evaluations, referrals and intervention services.

Stand Up For Downs
In 2013, four years after their son, Henry, was born with Down syndrome, Rob and Ellen Snow drew from Rob’s background in stand-up comedy and improvisation to found Stand Up For Downs. Since then, SUFD has granted, donated or sponsored over $300,000 to nearly 60 organizations and individuals in the disability community. Then in 2017, the Snows founded The Improvaneer Method with the goal of using improvisation to teach valuable skills to those with developmental disabilities to greatly increase social, workplace and lifetime opportunities.
