One of our amazing 2018 Rockin’ Recipients has been whoopin’ it up at Minot State!! ???????? Elizabeth Romanick just started her freshman year, and recently we got an incredible update from her mom (including that first pic of Elizabeth w/ the car all packed up & ready to head off to school!!). Here’s what she had to report:

“Minot State has had so many fun activities for Welcome Weekend and the first week of school. Here’s a pic of Elizabeth making s’mores with other MSU freshmen/students and a picture of her in front of the giant Beaver (Go Beavers!) with other ASTEP friends and mentors.

“She’s living in her dorm with a roommate and 2 suitemates who are not ASTEP students. I have not seen her for just about a week, but she’s been great at keeping me and her dad in the loop. Thank heavens for Snapchat!

“Lastly, the big news over the last couple of days is that she decided to try out for cheer. She cheered for 4 years as a middle and high school cheerleader. Even though she hasn’t cheered for 2 years, check out the last picture. The best part of this story is that she decided on her own and got herself over to the try-outs without ASTEP or mentor assistance. I guess we’ll be traveling for a few MSU football games! Go Beavers!”

LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! ???????????? We’re so glad you’re rockin’ it at Minot State, Elizabeth!!! We’re cheering you on from TX!! (See what I did there? ????) Can’t wait to hear more – keep us posted!! ❤️????????
