Elyse is in her second year at the University of Central Florida, where she is majoring in Business and minoring in Fitness. She is active in the Student Government Association, serves on the advisory board for the UCF Chapter of Best Buddies, and volunteers with her local Down Syndrome Association. She is also a certified Zumba instructor!
In high school, Elyse swam with the varsity swim team for four years. Her hobbies include swimming, dancing, hanging out with friends and going to the gym. In her scholarship application, Elyse wrote that she advocates for people with intellectual disabilities. The world needs more people like you, Elyse! Keep on rockin’ it in college!
