Anna Vekiarides

Anna Vekiarides is starting a brand new chapter this fall as this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Ginny Trawick Scholarship Award recipient, joining the very first cohort of LEAP Academy’s new post secondary program.

As one of the program’s inaugural students, Anna is excited to work alongside her peers toward shared goals of continued education and personal growth, all while forging friendships that she hopes will last a lifetime. She’s already spent the past couple of years polishing her self-advocacy skills, something she’s especially proud of.

Music runs deep for Anna. She’s continuing her violin lessons and hopes to pick up new instruments along the way. She approaches life with an analytical mind, always taking the time to think things through carefully, and her strong sense of fairness and attention to detail shape how she forms her opinions and speaks up for what she believes in.

Anna brings a rare mix of honesty, insight, and determination to everything she does. We’re so excited to see what this new program, and this next chapter, holds for you, Anna!
