Anastasia

Meet Anastasia, this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Jane Standal Scholarship Award recipient, who begins her freshman year at the Ready for Life Academy at Hope College this fall. She’s still exploring which area of study excites her most, and that openness to new possibilities is very Anastasia.

A talented artist, Anastasia recently sold an original painting for $110, a proud milestone and a sign of even bigger things to come. She loves to sing, dance, color, and create, and she’s hoping college will give her the space to go even deeper with her art.

Anastasia’s dreams don’t stop there: she’d love to become a dog trainer one day, and, in true big dreamer fashion, she’s even hoping to work with dolphins someday! For now, she’s most looking forward to making new friends, trying new things, and taking the kind of risks that help a person grow into who they’re meant to be.
