Oh my heart, y’all!!! 2015 Rockin’ Recipient Charli Webre’s sweet momma Jan wrote recently to let us know Charli got her graduation ring and will graduate from the University of Louisiana’s UL LIFE Program on May 11!! (That’s Charli and her friend Elliott pictured, showing off their class rings – how happy & adorbs are they?! ????????)

This will be the very first graduating class from UL LIFE – once again, one of our incredible Rockin’ Recipients is making history ????????????????❤️

Charli’s mom wrote the following:

Today I dropped Charli off at the University, and she is talking about graduation and how excited she is, but she is also telling me how sad she is that she will miss college and all of her friends. As she is talking her voice cracks, and tears well up in her eyes…and today she wasn’t the only one…I didn’t cry ALL the way home, but almost.

Charli posted this on her instagram the other day: “I have a dream to follow my path, I have faith in me.” I told her I knew that she was happy and sad at the same time, and that she had dreams…but most importantly that she believed and had faith in herself. I told her that her brothers and all of her friends who have graduated or will be graduating are probably feeling sad and excited also. They will be following their dreams too.

This starts a new chapter in her story… Her growth has been a beautiful thing to watch, her maturity and self-confidence are amazing. What I used to refer to as stubbornness, I now refer to as determination and persistence.

Ohh my ❤️. This makes ME tear up right along with Charli and her mom. I can just see myself feeling this way about Ruby someday – the mishmash of emotions, anticipation & most of all PRIDE in how this wonderful girl has grown up and become a young woman with the whole world at her fingertips.

Congratulations, Charli – we are SO PROUD of you and so excited to see what you accomplish next!!!
