John T. Farley loves his job as a teaching assistant in the Germantown Municipal School District. He points out that he gets paid like all the other Teaching Assistants, and he went through the same application process.

He works as a fourth-grade assistant and his duties include a good morning routine, daily folders, assistance in PE, and one on one assistance as needed. John T. likes to use his earnings to take dance classes at Fred Astaire, fly his girlfriend to visit and eat at his favorite place. John T. is a member of the NDSC Self Advocate Council and if you have been to the NDSC Youth and Adult Conference, you may know him.

He attends annually and is a popular workshop presenter!! Keep on rockin’ it JT!!
