Omgoodness, here’s an amazing little update to get your week started off right ❤️😍 Adam, one of our 2018 Rockin’ Recipients, graduated cum laude 🙌 this past May with an Associate of Arts degree from Ozarks Technical Community College 🎓👏👏 and then transferred as a junior this fall to Missouri State U, where he’s pursuing his BFA!! He was accepted into the Theatre Design, Technology and State Management program, and y’all, this young man has hit the ground running 😍😍 Along with attending classes, he’s been working out w/ a personal trainer 5 days/week, working part-time at an art gallery, volunteering as a crew member at the Springfield Little Theatre, taking voice lessons, playing D&D… This guy is BUSY and he’s doing it ALL, and I for one am SO inspired & impressed!!!

Adam’s sweet mama wrote to us about his accomplishments and how she’s found that all her worries about his recent transition to MSU have turned out to be unnecessary. She said somebody says “hi Adam” pretty much any time he walks in a building, and after making friends with the quarterback of the football team at a party, Adam got a special invite to meet the coach & the rest of the team – and now the entire MSU football team has got his back. I mean…! Does this not just fill up your ❤️ to brimming?? I am just SO PROUD of all our Rockin’ Recipients – they are truly ROCKIN’ that extra chromosome!! And when Adam’s mom wrote, “There must be nothing that gives a parent more happiness than to see their child find his passion and pursue it with enthusiasm” – well, I just about teared up, because yep, there’s nothing better than that 😍😭😍
