This girl was EXCITED to bring her report card home yesterday! One of my favorite things I have learned from Ruby (among many things ❤️) has been the ability to shift my way of thinking from what society’s standards of “good” or “excellent” is to truly looking at the abilities of each individual and being so ding dang proud of ALL accomplishments.

And you know what?! Life is SO much sweeter that way because there are SO many little day to day things that go unnoticed because society may not see them as a big deal or important. So for us this means we get to celebrate ALL the time!! Ruby didn’t bring home a “perfect” report card yesterday, but we celebrated so much because she improved in almost all areas and her reading and comprehension level went up a level. Is her reading up to the “standard” of a second grade level? Not YET… but it will be someday in what we call “Ruby Time.” And we will continue to dance and celebrate along the way❤️❤️
