10 years ago today, at 5:15pm after almost 24 hours of labor I held this beautiful, perfect little superhero in my arms for the very first time. I wasn’t prepared for how much I was gonna love her and that loves grows every single day.
Ella Mae, my love, you made me a mama for the very first time and I am SO proud of the strong, smart and wise lady you are becoming. But what I am most proud of is your compassion for all things. I love your kind and tender heart that nurses butterflies with broken wings back to life, helps others in need, and loves her little sister something fierce. I cannot wait to see what the next 10 years has in store for you.
