She believed she could….SO SHE DID.

I seriously can’t get enough of these messages with our newest recipients moving into their dorms and realizing that their college dreams are coming true. I got this from Ashley’s mom who wanted to share a couple of pictures of her move in day.

“It was certainly bittersweet for me but there is no doubt that ClemsonLIFEis were this sweet girl is supposed to be. Thank you for supporting her and all the other Rockin recipients. The message is…..every child born with Down Syndrome can go to college and parents should never think for a minute that it is not an option for their child. Dr. Clements and his wife Beth stopped by to say hello to the students as they moved in and signed a Clemson flag for their room.”

She also said that she has reached out to their local school in hopes to get a chance to speak to parents about the opportunities their kids will have after High School.

“Awareness and Advocacy is so important and they are never to young for parents to know the possibilities.”

I couldn’t agree more!
