I really dislike controversy. I get all wiggly and probably laugh weird and just want to get my Unicorn Horn out and sprinkle Rainbow Dust all over everything and everyone so that hopefully things will magically get better. But as much as I dislike controversy, there is one thing that I truly wish I could pierce the heart of with my Unicorn Horn…and that’s hate.

Some days I want to just wrap my kids up in my cape and hop on my magic carpet, get the heck out of dodge and shield them from everything. But that’s not possible, and quite honestly that’s not giving them a chance to change hearts and perceptions and hopefully one day bust out their own Unicorn Horn and shine their brightest. I have realized that the hate is always going to be there. There are people that will say things and do things that I can’t even fathom doing or saying myself. I can’t control that, but what I can control is my own heart and actions and do my best to raise these tiny humans I have been blessed with to show love, compassion, acceptance and to continue looking for the beauty in unexpected places. It’s not always easy, y’all…but the one thing I promise I can do to make a difference is to continue to show the world how amazing and capable people rockin it like my Ruby Doobs are, and to continue shining my dang Unicorn Horn in dark places to try and bring out the LOVE. ❤❤
