Meredith will be returning for her second year in the Mason LIFE Program. . She loves animals and hopes to have a career working with them when she graduates. She is getting lots of good experience while at GMU as she has a paid internship at the Humane Society and worked at a pet supermarket while in high school. Her first year she took classes in finance, campus exploration, math, reading and biology and is very much looking forward to her next year to continue to learn and grow!!
She loves book club, Best Buddies and is also Special Olympic Athlete. Meredith says, “I have Down syndrome, but that does not define who I am and what I can do for others.”
