Jordan is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient who was awarded his first Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship in 2017. He is a Destination Dawgs student at the University of Georgia, where he is working hard toward his goal of becoming a sports journalist. He has a sports writing internship with his school’s independent weekly student newspaper, The Red & Black, and is also taking life skills courses.
Jordan plays baseball every Saturday with friends and loves attending UGA football, basketball, baseball, gymnastics and equestrian events. He has also started his own Facebook page featuring his sports interviews and coverage of UGA sporting events.
In his scholarship application, Jordan wrote, “I like to show all my friends that just because I have Down syndrome, I can still be a great sports reporter.” We believe in you, Jordan! We can’t wait to see all you accomplish — keep on rockin’ it at UGA!
