John is entering his final year in the TigerLIFE Program at the University of Memphis, where he is learning about working with young children. He has worked as a paid teaching assistant in an art classroom at a local elementary school, and plans to work full-time in an educational setting with preschoolers and kindergarteners.
John is currently serving on the board of directors of the National Down Syndrome Congress and is a member of the NDSC Self-Advocate Council.
