“I want to sing and make a difference for the world.” — Owen Hicks
James “Owen” Hicks is a student at George Mason University’s Mason Life program. Owen was his high school basketball manager, was in variety shows, and sang in the choir. At school, Owen says he “helps bring people together.” He recalls how “college is important to our whole family”, and says he is going to college because “It is important for me to learn new things.” Owen is described as being very outgoing, and listening to him talk you can understand why. Owen played soccer in the Special Olympics and was a Cadet intern at George Mason University.
