I love how everyone in our community advocates differently because it takes a village. And ALL our voices have mattered!! Even though we still have a ways to go, we have come a LONG way from the days of institutionalization…and that all started with someone advocating for something different. For change. And now people with Down syndrome have more opportunities than ever before!
As a community, let’s keep raising those expectations and changing the world!!
