Sarah is currently enrolled at the University of Kansas in the Transition to Postsecondary Education (TPE) program, where she’s ready and excited to get started in the fall of 2017!
It’s no surprise that Sarah has a love for helping and teaching others — she’s spent the majority of her young adult life volunteering to help do just that. Sarah’s assistant teaching roles span working with preschool-aged children all the way through children ten years of age.
Sarah’s goals for the future include completing her studies in Early Childhood Education, living on her own, driving a car, and in general, being a great teacher and mentor.
Her secret to success? She takes a walk every morning to start her day! In addition to enjoying the Kansas Jayhawks football and basketball games, she’s also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and loves cheering them to victory.
