2019

Cheryl Miller will be entering her second year at Coastal Carolina University in the LIFE program. This summer she has been working at a local water park as well as volunteering at a senior living facility. In high school, she was Homecoming Queen and was voted Friendliest Senior by her peers. She loves dancing and cheerleading, and she plans to keep working hard in her college courses to learn the skills she needs in order to live independently and find a paying job after college.

Thanks to her friendly personality, her independence and her enthusiasm for being a student, Cheryl has been invited to speak at special education conferences about the LIFE program at CCU. Her post-college goal is to work in a clothing store or in the fashion industry. We know you can do it, Cheryl — keep on rockin’ it!
