Bethany Wissler is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient who attended the University of Toledo’s Transition Program, where she loved being a member of the Rockathon Committee and helping to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network. She works as a hostess at Outback Steakhouse and is now attending acting and modeling classes through Starbound Talent, with the goal of moving to Hollywood and becoming an actress or doing commercials.
Bethany says, “I’m happy and outgoing. I love God, my family and friends.” For younger people with Down syndrome who want to go to college, she has this advice: “Just try and do your best. I have never let a disability stand in my way and neither should you.” You rock, Bethany!
