Sabine is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Amazing Grace Scholarship Award. This fall she begins her freshman year in the STEPS program at Austin Community College, where she plans to study communications and gain valuable independent living skills to prepare her for the future. She recently traveled with her family all over Asia, and she aspires to become a travel blogger so she can share her experiences with everyone.
Sabine’s favorite thing to do is learning all the lyrics and dance moves to every BTS video ever created. She also loves reading, especially when she has a partner—or many partners, as she has in her book club. She is very proud to have been chosen to represent Team Texas at the Special Olympics National Games, where she won gold.
Sabine is always open to trying new experiences. Heading to college is bringing on lots of change, but Sabine knows it will be hard work and she is ready for it!
