Nash is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Hudson Jones Scholarship Award. This fall he begins his freshman year in the TAP program at the University of Cincinnati, where he plans to study sports management, independent living and career exploration. After he graduates, he plans to work in the sports industry and live independently with a roommate. Attending college is a longtime dream for Nash, who was included in general-education classes from preschool all the way through high school.

Nash loves all sports, especially football and basketball, bowling and WWE wrestling. He also loves singing to Queen—especially Bohemian Rapsody, and hanging out with friends, bowling, eating out, playing Xbox, and texting or Snapchatting.

Nash is proud to have advocated with the Arc of Indiana and his family to create EGTI, the first-of-its-kind postsecondary vocational training program in the country. Opened in 2016, EGTI provides training in hospitality, food service, healthcare, and inventory distribution.

He is also proud to have earned a varsity letter jacket in high school, with eight letters in Unified track, and to have served as team manager for the basketball and football teams. He was voted Prom King by his peers in his senior year.

We are so proud of you and all your hard work, Nash! You are a true inspiration!
