Marie Tisdale – Vanderbilt University Next Steps (Isla Marie Korzon Scholarship Award)

Marie is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Isla Marie Korzon Scholarship Award. This fall she begins her sophomore year in the Next Steps program at Vanderbilt University, where she is studying Career and Community Studies. Someday, Marie plans to open a gluten-free bakery.

During breaks from college, Marie works in hospitality at a luxury resort. She is an avid hiker in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and she loves going to see concerts in Nashville. She is very proud to live in a big city and loves her independent life.
