Maggie is a three-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow amaZing Z Scholarship Award. This fall she begins her junior year in the SUCCEED program at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, where she is studying education and sports management. She recently moved into an apartment on campus. She continues to work at the UMSL Rec Center and will also be training for several upcoming national and international Para Swimming events. After she graduates, she plans to live in an apartment with friends and get a full-time job that allows her to help others.
In her free time, Maggie enjoys hanging out with her friends on campus and attending events at the Newman Center. Her hobbies include drawing, sketching and going to the movies. She is very proud to have represented the USA at international swim meets, where she has won gold medals and set national and world records among swimmers with Down syndrome.
