Laurel is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Naklicki–Toolan Family Scholarship Award. This fall she begins her sophomore year in the Career and Life Studies Certificate program at the University of Delaware, where she is studying hospitality and business. After she graduates, she plans to live independently and work full-time at a job she loves.
Laurel enjoys making art, playing piano, running, and binge-watching K-dramas. She has also enjoyed doing fashion modeling and is proud to be a server at her part-time job at a local bar and restaurant. She is interested in learning Taekwondo and looks forward to this year in college.
