Hussein is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Mullen Family Scholarship Award. This fall he is looking forward to his sophomore year in the ACE-IT in College program at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he is studying mechanics and related technologies. He made lots of new friends his freshman year and enjoyed working at the campus gym as a Facility and Fitness Maintenance Assistant. He lives in his own apartment and hopes to join more clubs on campus this year. After he graduates, he plans to work as a mechanic.
Hussein is an athletic, funny, passionate, caring, kind and energetic young man. A great dancer, he is never too shy to dance anywhere that he hears music. He loves technology and is a big WWE fan. He enjoys reading books about animals and is especially interested in dinosaurs. He is active in Special Olympics soccer, basketball, track and field, tennis, and sailing.
Hussein’s hobbies include playing WWE video games, watching movies, playing soccer and hanging out with friends.
