Grace begins her first year in the RISE program at Judson University this fall, where she plans to study missions and develop her writing skills. She wants to pursue writing as a career. She would also like to travel and learn about other cultures, and be part of a ministry team to help families, youth and children.

Grace is the youngest of nine children. She grew up on a farm and was a bit of a tomboy, playing sports with her brothers and enjoying the chaos of a large family. She still loves watching football with her oldest brother when she visits him. Grace was homeschooled, and she learned to love gardening and cooking from her mother. The various mission trips she has taken have shaped her into the person she is today.

Her hobbies include writing in her journal, writing stories and poems, gardening, and cooking with fresh veggies. Her passion is writing inspiring poetry and stories; she tries to write something encouraging for everyone in her family. Her father had to be in the hospital right before she left for Judson University orientation, and Grace told him she didn’t want fear to stop her from going. He said, “You are going!” She says, “Dad’s strength gave me the courage to pursue this dream.”

We believe in you, Grace! We are so proud of you!
