Olivia is a freshman in the EDGE program at Union University, where she will be studying General Studies/Library Science.
In high school, Olivia excelled academically, receiving awards in science and Social Studies. She participated in soccer and cheerleading, and was named Junior Homecoming Princess. She is active in Circle of Friends with her local Down Syndrome Association and enjoys volunteering for local charitable organizations. She also leads Zumba and Hip Hop classes for elementary school children, and has participated in productions with a local theater group.
Those who know her describe Olivia as enthusiastic, empathetic, outgoing, and loyal to her family and friends. She is excited to start the next chapter of her life, and holds dear this verse from Psalms 20:4: “Let God grant what is in your heart and fulfill all your plans.”
