Kylie is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow OnPoint HR Team Scholarship Award. An avid traveler, she completed her freshman year in the Integrated Studies program at Millersville University, where her favorite classes included African American Music and Dance, Cultural Anthropology, Chemistry, and American Broadway Musicals.
Kylie’s professors describe her strengths as courage, energy, compassion, a positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning. Kylie embraces all opportunities to learn about various cultures and international celebrations, including exploring ethnic foods. She joined the Gospel Choir and Asia Club at Millersville, and has participated in festivals such as Kwanzaa, Passover and Diwali.
Kylie hopes to study abroad while in college, and also seeks to expand her performing and visual arts knowledge. Some of her favorite hobbies are creating mosaics and spending time in theatre and dance, both as a participant and an audience member.
