Jonah is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Colin McEnerney Scholarship Award and a freshman in the Makor College Experience program at Yeshiva University, where he is studying Psychology and Judaic studies. During the week, he lives with roommates in an apartment and enjoys attending his classes. Most weekends, he travels home to attend synagogue with his family, where he volunteers as an usher.
Jonah participates in Special Olympics basketball and tennis. He loves to ride his bike around the neighborhood and swim at the pool. He’s an enthusiastic fan for his softball-playing sisters, and loves attending their tournaments. He also enjoys a good game of Rummikub or Apples to Apples with his family.
