Jillian is a freshman at Blackburn College, where she plans to live on campus and develop her independent-living and vocational skills over the next four years, in order to prepare for work after graduation. Her mentors describe Jillian as someone with conviction, persistence and determination to reach her goals.
An avid singer, Jillian’s favorite pastime is singing karaoke. She also loves bowling, dancing and swimming, and has won gold medals in Special Olympics swimming events. She is active in youth ministry through her church, and is proud to have earned awards for her community service through the group.
