Davis is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Lily Girdlestone Scholarship Award. He is very excited to be a ClemsonLIFE student at Clemson University, where he plans to develop his independent living skills so he can live alone or with friends after graduation. He can’t wait to meet Coach Dabo Swinney, and hopes to serve as the football team manager so he can help them win another National Championship. He says, “Go TIGERS!”

In high school, Davis was the first student with special needs to be active in student government. He was the baseball team’s dugout manager and was also part of the first pep band for football games. He made the A/B honor roll nearly every semester. He was also the school’s first ever Options assistant teacher, and he had such a successful year that the school has continued the program. Davis was also an altar server in his church, and encouraged others with Down syndrome to become altar servers as well.

Davis loves music, and would love to open a restaurant someday that would feature nightly live music.

We believe in you, Davis! We can’t wait to see you reach your goals!
