Da’Monique is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Troy Drake Scholarship Award. She is a Project F.O.C.U.S. student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she is taking courses in hospitality. The field is a natural fit for her, since she has a huge heart and loves giving others compliments—so welcoming guests to Las Vegas is right up her alley. She isn’t afraid of a challenge and always gives a hundred and “21” percent to everything she does.
She says, “I am so happy and grateful to have a beautiful family and friends who support me. Watch out for me—I’m a BIG DEAL!”
