Sophia is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Team Hazelnut Scholarship Award. She is very excited to return to Judson University this fall, where she attends the RISE program. She is planning to go into Hospitality Management, and hopes someday to open a business with her family using the skills she is learning in college. It will be a place where kindness matters, and Sophia plans to employ people with disabilities.
Her professors and mentors describe Sophia as a confident and motivated student. Sophia is proud of her growing independence, and she hopes to live in her own apartment someday. We are so proud of you, Sophia! We believe in you—you rock!
