Rebecca is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Rafael Haelen Scholarship Award. This fall she begins attending Gwynedd Mercy University, where she plans to train to work in the food service industry. She studies Farsi, Spanish and Hebrew, and is an avid singer and hip-hop dancer.
Rebecca’s hero is Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson, and she has a dog named Vin Diesel. She lives on a farm and is in charge of collecting, washing and storing the hens’ eggs every day. She is looking forward to opportunities to grow and learn in a college setting this year.
