Natalie is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Truman Pins Memorial Scholarship Award. She is excited to start attending the Beyond Limits program at Bethany Global University this fall, where she hopes to make friends, develop her independence and show others with disabilities that they can dream big.
Natalie is active in Special Olympics swimming, bowling, gymnastics, and track and field. She has also been training as a dancer for over a decade. She loves working with both children and the elderly, and has an extensive history in volunteerism, having served in her church as well as at the Salvation Army, the library and a local zoo.
Natalie describes herself as “a self-starter” with “a positive attitude” and “a lot of care for God’s lost and hurt children.” These are wonderful qualities, and we know they will serve you well in college and beyond, Natalie! We think you rock!
