Kevin is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Ceci Crabbe & Friends Rock! Scholarship Award. He is looking forward to his sophomore year in the ClemsonLIFE program at Clemson University, and continuing to live his dream of being a college student and learning to live and work independently.
Kevin loves to play most sports, especially football, basketball, tennis and golf. In his freshman year at Clemson, he enjoyed being on the Tiger Sharks swim team, as well as going bowling and hiking, working out in the gym, and spending time with his roommates and friends. Last year, he was named the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta’s 2020 Self-Advocate of the Year. He serves on the junior board of Gigi’s Playhouse Atlanta and helps with their fundraising events, such as the annual 5K and gala.
This summer, Kevin has enjoyed working two summer jobs, but he can’t wait to return for another great year at ClemsonLIFE. He is grateful to Ruby’s Rainbow for making that possible! Kevin, we are proud to have you as a member of the Ruby’s Rainbow family! You rock—we believe in you!
