Claire is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Ginny Trawick Scholarship Award. She is very excited to attend the ROAR program at Washington State University this fall. She is looking forward to taking courses in communications and public speaking, toward her goal of becoming a teacher someday. She already has work experience as a teaching assistant at an early childhood learning center, and says, “Kids are amazing.”
Claire was active on her high school swim team and also swam with Special Olympics, reaching the state competition in three out of her six years. She loves traveling, and has traveled outside of the U.S. multiple times. She loves singing and dancing, and along with teaching, would love to be a country singer in Nashville someday. She would also love to own her own business. We believe in you, Claire! You rock!
