Cayce is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Scarlett Ruiz Scholarship Award. She attends the EDGE program at Union University, where she has taken courses in money management, social welfare, and social and economic justice. She loves living on campus, making new friends, going to classes and learning new things.
Cayce is active in her church, including being an assistant teacher at Vacation Bible School, and also enjoys volunteering at her local soup kitchen to help her homeless neighbors. Her mentors call her “an extraordinary young woman” and “an excellent role model for others.” We think you rock, Cayce!
