Alyssa is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Lovrin Baxter Scholarship Award. She loves attending school and learning, and will be starting her third year in the Mason LIFE program at George Mason University this fall. She plans to graduate in the next two years and wants to learn as much as she can at GMU so she can be as independent as possible after graduation.
Alyssa’s hobbies include singing, songwriting and playing guitar. She loves cooking and going to the beach. One of her teachers in the Mason LIFE program refers to Alyssa as someone with innate leadership qualities who is “a valuable asset to every aspect of the Mason LIFE community.” We see that in you, Alyssa! We think you rock!
