Olivia is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Our Future Is Bright: The Audrey and Jeremy Scholarship Award recipient. She attends her dream school, California Polytechnic State University, where she is the only student with Down syndrome. She also has her own photography business, Picture Perfect By Livi. Last year at CalPoly, she joined the campus drama club and took acting and voice lessons, because she loves acting and hopes to be a professional actor someday. She maintained a 3.85 GPA in her courses.
Olivia believes everyone should have the experience of going to college, and that people with Down syndrome are perfectly capable of thriving in college. Her teachers and mentors describe her as “an extraordinarily dedicated and courageous student” and someone who is positive, active and inspiring to others. We think you rock, Olivia!
