Kelly is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient who attends the RISE program at Judson University. She enjoys playing on the Judson Special Olympics basketball team and is proud that her team took third place in Sectionals last year. She is also proud to have spoken to her high school’s Life Skills students about college life and her experience in the RISE program.
Kelly has been developing her independence at Judson, and encourages other students with Down syndrome to do the same – to follow their dreams and take the opportunity to live away from home so they can learn more about life. We think that is great advice, Kelly! We are so proud of you – keep on rockin’ it at Judson this fall!
