Emma is this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Rafael Haelen Scholarship Award recipient. She plans to join the VIP program at New York Institute of Technology this fall. She is a Best Buddies Ambassador and worked with her Best Buddy to make a public service announcement video for Adelphi University about ending the use of the R-word. She also managed the Adelphi field hockey team.
In high school, Emma was a cheerleader as well as a member of the yearbook and yoga clubs, and performed in a play on campus. Her teachers and mentors describe her as hard-working and dedicated. We think you rock, Emma – we are so proud of you!
