Samantha Gonzalez is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient who will be a sophomore this fall at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Last year she enjoyed taking early childhood intervention and college and career classes; this year, she plans to take public speaking classes, since she enjoys giving speeches. She loves being in Hip-Hop Club and taking Zumba and hip-hop dance classes, and she enjoys attending campus plays and working out at the UCCS recreation center.
Samantha is a competitive hip-hop dancer and hopes to own a dance studio one day. When people ask her how she does it, she says, “I tell them I just take a deep breath and don’t be nervous.” We think you rock, Samantha!
