Leeann Phillips is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient who attends Rhode Island College. She maintained a 3.75 grade point average this past year at RIC and is looking forward to returning to school this fall. This summer, she participated in the Special Olympics summer games and took home the silver medal for the Turbo Jav. She is currently taking karate and water aerobic classes while volunteering at PetSmart and a local senior center, and also working two days a week at Tasca Automotive Group.
For Leeann, college is all about “being independent and doing my best.” She loves interning at the Rhode Island College radio station and would like to work for a radio station after she graduates. We know you can do it, Leeann — keep on rockin’ it at RIC!
