Kelly Griffin is this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Chaffee Family Scholarship Award recipient, and she will be attending Judson University this fall. In high school, she was active in FFA and chorus as well as Special Olympics basketball and bowling, and she won a Spirit of the Games award at the state-level Special Olympic basketball games. She was also a cheerleader who performed at state competitions with her Special Cheer and Tumbling team. She enjoys reading, going to plays, shopping, and traveling with her family. She also works in the office and cafeteria of a local school.
Kelly says, “I really like helping other people.” She is active in her church and has volunteered her time making lunches in homeless shelters and at summer camps. She also says, “I am really proud of myself and think I am a beautiful person.” We love your attitude, Kelly – we are so proud of you, too! Keep on rockin’ it at Judson!
