Jacob Nelson is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient who will begin his final year at Shepherds College this fall, where he is studying culinary arts. He has been working at a local restaurant this summer, and he loves his family, music, guitars, steak and ice cream, and Jesus most of all. He is always up for watching funny movies, jamming with the worship band, or shooting hoops with friends.
Jacob lives with roommates and is developing his independent-living skills along with his culinary skills at Shepherds. He joined the basketball team this past year and volunteered his time with the campus chapel. He would like to become a minister someday and teach others about Jesus.
