Hannah Scheffert is this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Truman Pins Memorial Scholarship Award recipient. She attends Minot State University, where she is working toward her certification to become an elementary paraprofessional educator. She has been singing in a choir for four years and has been a member as well as serving in leadership positions in her local chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. She works at JC Penney as well as at a local daycare, where she works with children and helps with snack time. She loves reading, traveling and hanging out with family and friends, exercising, and working with children at her church’s Sunday School.
Two of Hannah’s personal goals are to earn her driver’s license so she can drive herself to work, and to continue exercising and eating well so she can stay fit and healthy. We think you rock, Hannah — we know you can do it!
