Esther Listle is this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Benjamin Strickland Scholarship Award recipient, and she attends Shepherds College. In high school, she was active in Drama Club and choir, was Homecoming Queen her senior year, and was voted both “Sassiest Diva” and “Most Likely to Make Your Day.” In college, she is studying horticulture as well as independent living skills, and she loves being active in Special Olympics.
Esther’s future plans include continuing to live in the Midwest after graduation with friends she makes in college, and to get a job. She hopes to return to the small-town community where she grew up in order to inspire and encourage others with the example she has set. We believe in you, Esther — keep on rockin’ it at Shepherds!
